How do I make reservations?
Please call or text at 518-683-5573. A 25% deposit is required to hold your reservation. Full payment is
due by May 1. If the reservation is made after May 1 then 100% of the rental rate is due.
Who should I make a check out to?
All checks must be made payable to ‘Cotton Point Rentals’.
Where are the cottages located?
The cottages are located at 91 Cotton Point Road, Bolton, NY 12814.
What are the check in / check out days and times?
Cottages are rented on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in after 2:00 pm EST. Check out
by 10:00 am EST, except as otherwise noted.
How many vehicles can I bring?
Two vehicles per cottage, please call ahead about boat trailer storage.
How many people can stay in the cabin?
The weekly rate includes four people. A maximum of five are allowed. Extra adults are $100, extra
children $50, no charge for infants.
Are visitors allowed?
No more than 2 visitors per day and no overnight guests.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, our cottages and property are pet friendly. We do ask that you be considerate of others and clean up
after your pets. There is an additional fee of $100 per pet. Renters responsible for any damages caused by
pets. Pets should be kept on a leash in outdoor spaces.
What is included in my rate?
All units include, basic cable and a television, full baths and basic cooking utensils. We do provide pots &
pans. Our kitchens are also equipped with a toaster, coffee maker (please provide filters), dinnerware,
silverware, cups and glassware. Kayaks and paddleboards with life jackets are available for guests.
Docking for a boat up to 22′ LOA is also included.
Can I bring a boat/ watercraft?
Docking for one boat, per cabin, up to 22′, is available. Advance reservations must be made for all
docking. Please call ahead about boat trailer storage, storage on site is not guaranteed. No bumpers are
provided. We are not responsible for any damage to your boat and your boat must be secured at all times
while on the dock. We do not have launching facilities. No charge for your watercraft that does not
require docking (e.g., canoe, kayaks, small inflatables).
What do I need to bring with me?
We recommend
- linens
- towels
- potable water
You may bring anything else that will make your stay more comfortable such as water toys, bikes, etc. Please provide any other kitchenware you may require. There is no maid service.
What additional fees are there?
Extra adult $100 per week. Extra child $50 per week. No charge for infants.
What is your cancellation policy?
- More than 90 days prior to arrival – full refund.
- Within 90 to 60 days prior to arrival, refund less 25% charge.
- Within 60 days prior to arrival – no refund.
- No refund for the unused portion of your stay.
